Philharmonic Ensemble Vienna was founded by violinist Shkelzen Doli in 2013 and consisted of three members from the Vienna Philharmonic who are violinist Holger Groh, cellist Sebastian Bru, and pianist Gottlieb Wailisch. It recently increased the number of members to thirteen and added wind and brass. Now it is consisting of violinist Shkelzen Doli, violinist Holger Groh, violist Mario Karwan,cellist Sebastian Bru, contrabassist Elias Stephan Mai, flutist Walter Anton Auer, oboist Clemens Horak, clarinetist Norbert Täubl, bassoonist Stepan Turnovsky, trumpetist Hans Peter Schuh, hornist Josef Rei, percussionist Klaus Zauner and hornist Jan Jankovic.

All the members are current members of the prestigious Vienna Philharmonic. The Vienna Philharmonic performed for the first time in 1842 and has performed under the baton of Karl Boehm, Herbert von Karajan, and manyother legendary conductors. “New Year’s Concert” of the Vienna Philharmonic has been held on the first day of every year. Internationally acclaimed conductors have been invited to this concert and the concert is broadcasted worldwide in real-time.

Philharmonic Ensemble Vienna has incomparable sound that shows the unique style of the historic Vienna Philharmonic. Invited from all around the world, they made a tour to South Korea and recorded five sold-out concerts in a row in 2019.
